đ Scruffyâs Digital Journy â Opening a Web Browser
Hi, Iâm Scruffy. When Christopher first showed me the Internet, I didnât know how to begin. He explained that the very first step is opening a web browser â the tool that lets you explore websites.
đ StepâbyâStep Guide: Opening a Web Browser
Step 1: Find the Browser Icon
Use your mouse to click the Start Menu (Windows logo at the bottom left).
Or click inside the search bar next to it.
You might also see a browser icon (like Edge, Chrome, or Firefox) directly on the desktop.
Step 2: Type the Browser Name
In the search bar, type Edge, Chrome, or Firefox.
The program will appear in the list.
Step 3: LeftâClick to Open
Move your mouse pointer over the browser icon.
Leftâclick once.
The browser will open on your screen, ready to use.
⨠Scruffyâs Reflection
At first, I thought opening the Internet would be complicated. But Christopher reminded me: itâs just one click. Once I opened the browser, I felt excited â like opening the door to a whole new world.
