🌐 Scruffy’s Digital Journy — Opening a Web Browser

Hi, I’m Scruffy. When Christopher first showed me the Internet, I didn’t know how to begin. He explained that the very first step is opening a web browser — the tool that lets you explore websites.

🌀 Step‑by‑Step Guide: Opening a Web Browser

Step 1: Find the Browser Icon

  • Use your mouse to click the Start Menu (Windows logo at the bottom left).

  • Or click inside the search bar next to it.

  • You might also see a browser icon (like Edge, Chrome, or Firefox) directly on the desktop.

Step 2: Type the Browser Name

  • In the search bar, type Edge, Chrome, or Firefox.

  • The program will appear in the list.

Step 3: Left‑Click to Open

  • Move your mouse pointer over the browser icon.

  • Left‑click once.

  • The browser will open on your screen, ready to use.

✨ Scruffy’s Reflection

At first, I thought opening the Internet would be complicated. But Christopher reminded me: it’s just one click. Once I opened the browser, I felt excited — like opening the door to a whole new world.
