🧸 Scruffy’ C — Talking to a Teacher
Hi, I’m Scruffy. At first, I thought kids had to keep their feelings locked away. But Christopher reminded me: sharing is strength, not weakness.
🌱 Why Talk to a Teacher?
Teachers are trusted adults who care about your safety.
They can help with worries about school, friends, or home.
They can guide you to more support if you need it.
🛡️ Scruffy’s Safety Ritual — Three Simple Steps
Step 1 — Notice When feelings feel too big, pause and name them.
“I feel sad.”
“I feel worried.”
“I feel angry.”
Step 2 — Share Go to your teacher and say:
“I’m feeling sad. Can I talk to you?”
“Something is troubling me. Can I tell you?”
“I don’t feel safe. Can you help me?”
Step 3 — Safe Your teacher listens, helps, and makes sure you’re not alone. Teddy reminds you: sanctuary is always open.
✨ Scruffy’s Reflection
At first, I thought teachers only cared about homework. But Christopher reminded me: teachers are part of sanctuary too. For kids, that means every heavy moment becomes a chance to reach out, tell someone, and remember: you are never alone, ever.
