⌨️ Keyboard Basics
The keyboard is your main tool for typing and giving commands. It may look full of keys, but don’t worry — you’ll only need a few to start.
🧭 Getting to Know the Keys
Letters (A–Z) — type words, just like writing on paper
Numbers (0–9) — useful for typing dates, passwords, or sums
Space Bar — the long key at the bottom, adds a space between words
Enter/Return — moves you to a new line or confirms a choice
Backspace/Delete — erases the last letter or word
🖐️ Practice Makes Progress
Try typing your name into a blank document
Press the Enter key to move to a new line
Use Backspace to correct a mistake
Add spaces with the Space Bar
🌟 Special Keys You’ll Meet Soon
Shift — makes capital letters when held down with another key
Caps Lock — keeps letters capital until you turn it off
Tab — moves the cursor forward, often used in forms
💡 Tip: Don’t worry about speed. Accuracy and comfort come first. With practice, your fingers will find their way naturally.
