📸 Scruffy’s Digital Journy — How to Use the Camera on Your Mobile
Hi, I’m Scruffy. Christopher explained that the mobile camera is like a window that captures moments. At first, I thought cameras were only for professionals. But Christopher reminded me: your mobile camera is simple, safe, and always ready to help you learn and remember.
🌀 Step‑by‑Step: Using the Camera
Open the Camera App
Look for the camera icon on your home screen.
Tap it to open.
Choose Mode
Default is Photo.
Swipe to switch to Video, Portrait, or Selfie mode.
Frame Your Shot
Hold the phone steady.
Use the screen to see what you’re capturing.
Take the Photo
Tap the round shutter button (usually at the bottom).
For selfies, tap the flip‑camera icon to switch to the front lens.
Record a Video
Switch to Video mode.
Tap the red record button to start, and tap again to stop.
View Your Photos/Videos
Tap the small preview thumbnail in the corner.
Your gallery will open with the latest image or video.
Press and Hold Option
On many phones, press and hold the shutter button to take a burst of photos or start recording video automatically.
🖱️ Scruffy’s Camera Challenge "Christopher gave me a challenge to practice. You can try it too:"
Open the camera app.
Take one photo of something nearby.
Switch to selfie mode and take a picture of yourself.
Try recording a short video.
Press and hold the shutter button to see burst or quick‑record features.
View your photos in the gallery and write down the steps in your notebook.
✨ Scruffy’s Reflection At first, I thought cameras were complicated. But Christopher reminded me: your mobile camera is simple, safe, and playful. For learners, that means you can capture memories, practice visual learning, and grow — all with Scruffy guiding you gently.
