📇 Scruffy’s Digital Journy — How to Edit or Delete a Contact
Hi, I’m Scruffy. Christopher explained that editing or deleting a contact is like tidying your library of trusted names. At first, I thought once you saved a number, it stayed forever. But Christopher reminded me: you can update details or remove contacts to keep your phone safe, clear, and predictable.
🌀 What Editing or Deleting Involves
Open the Contacts App: Look for the silhouette or “Contacts” icon.
Find the Contact: Scroll or search for the person’s name.
Edit Details: Tap “Edit” to change their number, email, or name.
Save Changes: Tap “Save” so your updates stay.
Delete Safely: Tap “Delete” if you no longer need the contact. Confirm when asked.
Press and Hold Option: On many phones, you can press and hold a contact’s name to bring up quick options like “Edit” or “Delete.”
🖱️ Scruffy’s Contacts Challenge "Christopher gave me a challenge to practice. You can try it too:"
Open the Contacts app on your mobile.
Choose a contact you know well.
Tap “Edit” and change their name slightly (like adding a smiley).
Save the change.
Then practice deleting a test contact you created earlier — either by tapping “Delete” or by pressing and holding the contact until the option appears.
Notice how your phone stays organized and clear.
